Event 2: Barbershop Talk
Theme: Love, Relationships and Safe Sex
Description: Barbershop Talk provides Black men and boys with a trusted community space to critically examine relationships, fatherhood, vulnerability, and sexual health. While discussions will address safe sex practices, the dialogue intentionally broadens the conversation by asking participants to reflect on how men learn to love, receive love, express love, father, and sustain healthy relationships. Participants will explore the relationship between masculinity, responsibility, emotional intelligence, consent, fatherhood, communication, and community accountability.
