About the event
The Afro-Caribbean Mentorship Program (ACMP) Inc. is thrilled to announce the final instalment of the Hairstyles & Conversations community series! After a successful run of separate sessions for Black men and boys, and women and girls, we are bringing Barbershop and Salon talk together under one roof. We are pleased to announce that our community-under-one-roof dialogue will be held at the Sanctuary in Winnipeg, MB.
The event will be on May 23rd. The community FREE BBQ starts at 5 p.m. & the community dialogue begins at 6 pm and ends at 8:30 p.m. We will gather as a collective to explore the foundational themes of trust and vulnerability and to destigmatize mental health conversations, normalizing and making them inclusive.
